Hollywood Vassarette, Minneapolis, Minnesota - 1960 - Condition: Minor toning, else fine. - Two (2) illustrated booklets advertising lingerie and undergarments by Hollywood Vassarette, with "stories" relating the history of embroidery and lace-making by women: "Because Hollywood Vassarette lingerie and sleep fashions frequently feature dainty, delicate or whimsical embroideries, it seems appropriate to offer this educational booklet so that you may learn the embroidery story . of its origin, development, present day manufacture as well as identity of basic hand embroidery stitches" (upper wrapper verso).
