Chemical Resistant High Temperature Teflon PTFE Tubing
Flexible, heat-resistant PTFE tubing offers a low friction coefficient that can allow higher flows and easier washdown, helping to eliminate process-contaminating residue. Low permeation can enable use in severe chemical and specialty gas service. Use this chemical-resistant tubing in industrial, chemical processing, general laboratory, automotive, aerospace, insulation and food service applications.
White translucent, thin wall tubing is strong, insulating, and has a high dielectric strength over a wide range of frequencies for use in a variety of laboratory applications. It is made of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) for light weight and flexibility. It is heat resistant to 500 degrees F (260 degrees C) continuous. It is ETO (ethylene oxide) and autoclave sterilizable for repeat usage. It is non-absorbent to water and unaffected by acids and alkalis.
Plastic tubing is used to transfer liquids, air, or solids, and it is characterized by a round shape and a hollow center. Plastic tubing is crimp-resistant and varies in bend radius (flexibility), chemical resistance, wall thickness, durometer hardness, and temperature and pressure handling abilities.
