Learn how to make super simple kirigami paper hearts. These paper hearts can be used as corner bookmarks or used as part of greeting cards or collages in the run to Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day! The hearts look super cute using little faces or you can add conversation heart messages, such as “BFF Forever” or “I Heart U”.Students are encouraged to cut their own paper strips in a 2:1 ratio (for stronger bookmarks) or 4:1 ratio (if using in collages or saving on paper). However, templates for printing on either colored paper or printing in full color have been provided to save time in the classroom.
