More than decade of research on pathogen-host mechanisms and development of new in vitro infection models at the Max Planck Institute for Infection biology Berlin first as a Post doc, than as a Group leader . Expertise in adult stem cells and organoid cell cultures. Deep background in pathology developement in upper female genital tract and etiology of ovarian cancer. Moved to Charite University Berlin in 2019 exploring new avenues:) Interested in mechanisms of epithelial renewal in the periferal lung tissue. Exploring the impact of bacterial and viral pathogens on cell fate and differentiation.
